Robert will be doing carving demonstrations out in front of The Cupola on the historic Clarksville Square at this year’s Clarksville Fine Arts Festival on Saturday June 2, 2012 (9am-4pm). There will be more than 40 of his works on display there! Don’t miss this! Y’all come on out!

Have you ever walked through the woods just as the sun was going down and sensed there was someone there with you, watching you? Have you seen something move out of the corner of your eye but when you turned to look there was nothing there? Perhaps you saw or sensed one of the many creatures that make their home in the abundant crags and hidden recesses of the woods. One thing I know for sure is that they exist. They have spoken to me, begged me to release them – and so I have.

They are released here in these unique works of art. I just cut away the bark, and expose them so they can be free at last. You may call them wizards, perhaps gnomes, or even elves, but they are spirits – free spirits, and they are here to entertain you, make you think, and perhaps even to whisper to you the many secrets that they hold. The secrets shared by only those willing to listen.
